One day training with Caroline Bentley-Davies
"So relevant, I've never had a session before where I've got so many useful ideas!"

Can you remember how you became effective at managing pupils' behaviour? Managing behaviour is the key area causing many new teachers sleepless nights. Motivating pupils, fostering a "can do" classroom climate and learning how to juggle the busy teachers' work load are crucial skills that new staff need to secure. Experienced teachers draw on a wealth of techniques, but new teachers need to amass these skills quickly. This one-day course gives new teachers practical, inspiring and workable strategies to inspire pupils, develop a great classroom presence, and "behaviour proof" their teaching. Importantly, it looks at how using great teaching techniques instils great classroom behaviour habits and helps pupils make good progress. The first years of teaching can be stressful, so the day also gives important time-management and work-life balance strategies to help new teachers protect their resilience and develop their teaching strengths. Also available as in-school for groups of staff/twilights/clusters. Contact: caroline@bentley-davies.co.uk | |||||
